I love these pure-play Hacker Conferences. I believe that this event (UYBHYS) will be held in a physical location in France (rather than being online) but please check before-hand. Really cool to see more of these CTF events being included within our directory and we wish the team the best of luck. Clearly, if you’re a Cybersecurity Professional in France then this would be an excellent event to get involved with.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Friday, June 26th 2020, or created by us.
Unlock Your Brain, Harden Your System! is a hacking conference in its purest tradition. It tackles a wide range of subjects from the more technical to social or political impact.
One of the main goals of this event is to obviously enlarge participants’ knowledge of the security field.
The conference will be held in French but is always welcome to host English speakers.
The conference includes one track of 20 to 40-minute talks (25-45 with Q&A) and a closing rump session (5 minutes or more) on Saturday, several tracks of 3-4hr hands-on workshops on Friday.
Submissions are open for all of these submission types.
Unlock Your Brain, Harden Your System! is a non-profit event organized mostly by volunteers from La Cantine numérique Brest and DIATEAM.
The speaker benefits will include round trip tickets to the far west city of Brest, accommodation, and food/drinks for speakers.
Speakers from the workshop get to participate in the CTF or conference and get invited to the speakers’ dinner on Friday evening.
