This is a Cybersecurity Education event – aimed at a broad range of skillsets. We’re always proponents of training and InfoSec educational events for all the right reasons: education is key especially with Cyber Security. The more we can learn the better we can be at our jobs and as such it’s a real honor to be able to include this event in our directory.

The 3rd annual Virginia Cybersecurity Education Conference is headed to Norfolk, Virginia on July 27 – 28, 2020.
Interested professionals/experts are invited to submit their proposals on topics related to enhancing cybersecurity education for students in high schools, colleges, and universities. Proposals for the following tracks are encouraged:
- Innovative courseware and case studies
- Tips, emerging trends, and lessons learned
- Work-based learning, workforce development, and credentialing
- Hands-on cybersecurity activities
These proposals should be appropriate for 3-hour workshops, 50-minute presentations, or 25-minute short talks.
The event also has a scholarship that is awarded to faculty teaching or planning to teach cybersecurity in Virginia high schools, colleges, and universities.

- The registration fee to attend the conference
- CEU certificate
- Hotel accommodations (one night)
