Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, September 7th 2020, or created by us.

As the second convention hosted by Veteran Security, the goal is to continue to further the vision statement of the company; “A world where no veteran pursuing information security goes unemployed.”

To this end, VetSec, Inc. is proud and excited to announce VetSecCon 2020.

Featuring key speakers from across the information security industry as well as experts in areas like navigating the Veterans Affairs benefits claims and issues facing the human side of information security as well as speakers from our very own membership, VetSecCon 2020 proves to be our most ambitious event yet!

This year, VetSecCon will feature three tracks.

  • The first track is aiming directly at military members readying for their transition. This track will include speakers on job interviews, resume writing, LinkedIn networking, navigating veterans’ benefits, educational benefits, etc.
  • Track two is all technical. Featuring speakers from the events’ own membership as well as industry leaders, this track will include entry-level information security discussions as well as highly specialized talks.
  • Track three is the human aspect of information security. Featuring talks on different issues in humanity and how infosec professionals can make a difference, this track aims to educate its attendees beyond the technical into the philosophical.
