Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Friday, January 31st 2020, or created by us.

For almost 20 years, the Western Canada Information Security Conference has gathered Risk Management, Information Security, IT Audit and Control, and a lot more professionals from across Western Canada and around the world to expand their industry skills and knowledge. The Conference Mission is to “Connect People and Ideas while fostering thought Leadership within Our Community”.

Organizers of this event are also very excited to have Rick Mercer as the Lunch Keynote speaker. Rick Mercer chronicles, satirizes and ultimately celebrates all that is great and irreverent about this country. A #1 bestselling author, Governor General’s Award-winner for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, and “Canada’s Unofficial Opposition,” Mercer is our most popular comic; a political satirist who knows exactly what matters to regular Canadians and what makes them laugh.
