Sempris, the folks behind this online event, host a ton of excellent events so we’re delighted to see them also get involved and promote online virtual security events. This event is hugely topical with the new (and to be continued?) WFH way of life. WFH (Working From Home) is a reality and I suspect that it will continue throughout 2021 – but that’s just mu opinion! Good luck to the organizers and get yourself to this event, especially if you’re a security admin.

Recent events forced us to change the way we work and today most employees are working remotely. While enabling remote access is critical these days, it’s also exposing us to more risk:
- A rise in Phishing attacks leads to more compromised credentials
- Users connecting with devices that might be compromised
- An overall increase in the number of breach attempts
Secure Authentication at the VPN is important, but not enough: when hundreds of users are inside the network – who is monitoring and validating that access to our most sensitive assets is legitimate and secure?
In this webinar, the topic that will be discussed is why remote access is putting organizations at risk. An example of relevant attacks that target our most critical assets, like Active Directory will be reviewed. Finally, the speaker will discuss what should be done to mitigate the threat and protect sensitive assets from breach and compromise.
