International Workshop on Attacks and Defenses for Internet-of-Things (ADIoT) 2021
Event submitted on Tuesday, April 13th 2021, approved by Charles Villanueva ✓
This event has been tagged as follows:
The vast majority of businesses are using Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which is affecting every aspect of (business) life. IoT nodes, on the other hand, are vulnerable to cyber attacks and cybercrime due to the architecture of the Internet, connectivity, embedded OS, and backend resources. Furthermore, most security technologies intended for corporate applications are ineffective for IoT computers. As a consequence, we are confronted with a significant IoT security, risk, and safety problem, and it is critical to investigate IoT-specific cyber threats in order to develop innovative and effective security measures. This workshop will concentrate on Internet of Things (IoT) attacks and protections: so if you work with these technologies then we’d highly encourage you to attend this event organized by IACR.
Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, April 13th 2021, or created by us.
The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is widely adopted by the vast majority of businesses and is impacting every aspect of the world. However, the natures of the Internet, communication, embedded OS, and backend recourses make IoT objects vulnerable to cyber attacks. In addition, most standard security solutions designed for enterprise systems are not applicable to IoT devices. As a result, we are facing a big IoT security and protection challenge, and it is urgent to analyze IoT-specific cyber attacks to design novel and efficient security mechanisms.
This workshop will focus on IoT attacks and defenses, and seek original submissions that discuss either practical or theoretical solutions to identify IoT vulnerabilities and IoT security mechanisms.
