 Our Review

According to a research report undertaken by Frost and Sullivan in 2014, women made up just 12% of the global cybersecurity workforce. Even the Cybercrime Magazine concluded on March 28, 2019, that women now make up about 21% of global infosec payrolls; and whilst this is an encouraging development we’re hoping to see this trend continue in 2021 and beyond. We cover a lot of Women In Cybersecurity conferences and this one is key in our listings for 2021.

Australia’s largest security awards are back!

Once a year, the security industry gathers together to celebrate and raise the profile of the Australian IT Security, Cyber, and Protective Security industry to inspire young women and men to consider a career in this sector.

We do this by honouring their accomplishments, value, and contributions to the Australian market and giving them the recognition they deserve.

Source2Create Pty Ltd is the Producer and Organiser of the Australian Women in Security Awards.

AWSN is the Official Partner of the Australian Women in Security Awards.

The theme of the Australian Women in Security Awards 2021 is “Breaking the Pattern”. This theme reminds us that simple, daily acts of inclusion, and aligning our choices and our organization’s choices to be free of any bias, can lead to a more diverse workforce for the Australian security industry.

Industry sponsors are the primary source of funding for this event and will help ensure its success.
