Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Sunday, September 12th 2021, or created by us.
BSides Jeddah is formed to stimulate the Information Security industry and community by providing an annual conference for security practitioners and those interested in (or looking to) enter the field. The event is a source of education, communication, and collaboration. The technical and academic presentations at BSides Jeddah are given in the spirit of peer review and for the dissemination of knowledge among all specialties. This allows the field of Information Security to grow and continue its pursuit of a world where privacy and security are attainable.
BSides Jeddah is a volunteer organized event, put on by and for the community, and we truly strive to keep information free. According to the organizers, one thing that makes them different from a lot of events is they don’t charge to the public to attend BSides events. The costs are covered by our generous donors and sponsors, who share our vision of free dissemination of information, and we rely on volunteers to help make the conference a success. We see the people who come to BSides as participants, instead of attendees, who share the goal to foster growth & community in the InfoSec World.
