 Our Review

The folks at BSides Newcastle like to call their security event the “weirdest InfoSec event out there,” as they’ve held their first event in a skate park that was completely frozen, last year they had a virtual 2-day event that took place across 4 continents, and this year they will have a hybrid event where we both cover the content and give people the chance to hold live events. If you are interested in anything from public interest and the well-being of society to sophisticated mathematical proofs of encryption to robots, AI, and the future human rulers they’re happy to meet you!

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, June 17th 2021, or created by us.

BSides Newcastle is the weirdest InfoSec event out there, for our first event was a 1-day event in a skate park and had a blast even though it was frozen, last year we went virtual with a 2-day event covering 4 continents, this year we go hybrid offering both the coverage and the opportunity for live events again.

Rather than list requirements and specify a theme I leave this relatively open, community interest and well-being all the way to demonstrations of your latest tools to advanced mathematical proofs on encryption to robots AI and why we all love our future overlords of humanity to lock-picking and breaking into the industry we really like to keep an open view on submissions.

2020’s talks and workshops are available on our YouTube page

The plan is for 2 tracks one physical and one virtual with a rookie section reserved on both tracks
