 Our Review

The smart city concept combines information and communication technologies (ICT) with multiple physical devices linked to the Internet of Things (IoT) network to improve city functions and utilities while also connecting people. Smart city technology enables city authorities to communicate directly with the public and city infrastructures, as well as observe what is going on in the city and how it is changing. Traffic and Automotive Security Transportation is one example of how Smart Cities can be a good thing; it’s worth noting that SCADA systems play an important part in this regard. ICT is used to improve the efficiency, performance, and interactivity of municipal facilities, as well as to minimize costs and resource use and increase citizen-government interaction. Smart city apps are designed to handle urban traffic and provide real-time responses; and if this is an area that you work with then we’d highly recommend that you get yourself involved with “COVID Challenge & Innovations: Smart Cities & Cybersecurity 2021”. This event, as per the title, also takes a good look at how Covid (the pandemic) has affected Smart technologies.
