Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Sunday, July 11th 2021, or created by us.
Meeting at the Annual Wyoming Cyber Security Symposium in April 2017, the three founders decided that education wasn’t enough. Wyoming businesses and organizations needed a resource to actually ACT on the next steps to protect themselves. Thus, the concept of Made Safe in Wyoming was born. Now, after becoming an affiliate of CyberUSA in April 2018, Made Safe in Wyoming has become a program managed under the CyberWyoming umbrella. As CyberWyoming, the organization can now offer national content, a national threat sharing platform, and additional outreach programs for Wyoming.
Founders: Laura Baker, Patrick Wolfinbarger, James Drever
The event’s goal is to reduce the cyber risk for Wyoming businesses, organizations, and municipalities.
