 Our Review

This is an interesting conference that looks at ways to make SCADA/ICS “Smart-Grids” more green. This subject matter will likely weave itself into AI and ML as well.

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, December 17th 2020, or created by us.

The Annual IEEE GreenTech Conference was conceived to address the challenges of securing green and clean energy sources for the 21st century and building a more resilient and secure power grid to protect the environment.

The 2021 IEEE Green Technologies Conference theme is “Secure and Clean Energy Systems for the 21st Century”

The aim of IEEE GreenTech 2021 is to serve as a forum for engineers, researchers, and specialists from academia, research centers, and industry worldwide to discuss and present the latest developments and applications related to the challenges of securing green and clean energy sources for the 21st century to protect the environment.

GreenTech main areas of interest include but not limited to Renewable Energy and Smart Grids, Energy Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Storage, Transportation Electrification, Codes, Standards, Regulations and policies, and related topics, including Engineering Education.

GreenTech is now in its 13th year and returns to Denver for the third time on April 7-11, 2021. Denver is centrally located 340 miles west of the exact center of the continental United States and is known for international, traditional, and local cuisine at many of its restaurants and eateries and for the flair of the Wild West culture.

Denver has daily nonstop flights to 185 worldwide destinations and has the “Best Airport in North America” for 7 consecutive years as named by Business Traveler magazine. The city and area have 90 golf courses that can be played year-round, over 30 world-class ski resorts, 41 state parks, and 58 mountains with peaks higher than 14,000 ft. with 300 days of sunshine each year.
