Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Friday, January 15th 2021, or created by us.
Hack In The Box (HITB) is a series of network security and hacking-related conferences that provide cutting-edge hardcore technical talks delivered by some of the most respected names in the computer security industry. Held annually in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, they are amongst the foremost platforms for the discussion and dissemination of next-generation cyber computer security issues.
Our objective has always been to raise awareness about the risks and importance of security in the digital age and to also nurture new talents. Appealing not only to seasoned security professionals, but also those just starting out on their hacker path, it is our shared responsibility to exchange experiences, propose ground-breaking ideas, and equip ourselves and others with next-generation competencies.
To achieve this, HITB brings together the world’s top thinkers and cybersecurity experts to share their latest knowledge, ideas, and techniques with security professionals and students.
Our events routinely feature two days of conferences with multi-tracks of up-to-date hardcore technical talks delivered by some of the most respected names in the computer security industry. This is also an opportunity for all interested to develop new professional relationships and alliances while keeping your fingers on the pulse of the ever-evolving computer security industry.
The third and last leg in the series of HITBSecConf, a.k.a HITB+CyberWeek, will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 25-27 in a hybrid fashion – virtual and in-person. This week-long event is in collaboration with EXPO2021. A paid admission ticket is required for physical attendance while it’s free to view remotely online.
Conference highlights include a designated keynote track, CTF Pro Finale where the world’s best hackers compete under one roof, HITB’s CommSec track, as well as villages, hands-on and interactive labs, and workshops. They cover a wide range of topics from AI and machine learning to blockchain tech, bug hunting, wireless technology, and more.
In conjunction with the conference, deep-knowledge technical security trainings are offered a few days prior to conference days in the same week (August 23 onwards). Each training is carefully designed and tailored to engage in in-depth learning and discussion. It gets as hands-on and interactive as it gets for physical settings while for virtual ones, they’ll be delivered live-streamed by seasoned trainers equipped with virtual lab environments and structured through a learning management system.
