Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Wednesday, March 17th 2021, or created by us.

The 9th edition of the International Workshop on Systems Safety & Security – IWSSS 2021 will be organized this year as an e-event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The workshop themes are of growing importance in the global political, military and economic context. Its topics are related to the security and safety of the systems, which are key components of critical infrastructures such as energy production and distribution, water and wastewater management, defense, healthcare providers, transportation systems, and communications. A special theme this year is the security of e-learning and remote working systems, extensively used due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The papers presented in the previous editions were high-quality woks, published in IEEE Xplore and indexed by Clarivate Analytics Web of Science (ISI). The papers from the last edition (IWSSS 2020) are currently pending ISI indexing.
