 Our Review

I have lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, for many years and I am delighted to be able to list this Scottish Cybersecurity Conference. There are not that many InfoSec events that take place in Scotland so that’s why it is an even greater reason to list this conference. With Brexit comes a lot of uncertainty and we will see what impact that has on Cybersecurity and that is precisely what is covered in this conference (amongst other items). The “Holyrood Connect Public Sector Cyber Security” covers a lot of fantastic content.

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, December 8th 2020, or created by us.

As one of the largest virtual gatherings of public sector cyber security and IT professionals from across Scotland and further afield, Holyrood Connect’s 10th annual Public Sector Cyber conference will play a major role within Cyber Scotland Week.

Our 2021 edition, taking place virtually, will examine how the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a shift in cyber security threats, and offer the latest thinking on how your organization can protect itself.

With the Scottish Government preparing to launch its new cyber security strategy, we will also look ahead to the future of cyber security policy in Scotland.

The event is free-to-attend for those working in the public or third sectors, and delegates will be eligible for up to six CPD points (depending on participation levels). Register now to secure your place.

Key issues to be addressed:

  • COVID-19 and the Evolving Cyber Threat Landscape
  • Remote Working + Cloud Security
  • Cyber Security and the Supply Chain
  • Developing Whole Organisation Cyber Skills
  • Beyond Brexit: Implications for Cyber Security and Data Protection
  • The Future of Cyber Security Policy
