Conference Event Summary

In 2020, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) received a 45% increase in cyber security incident reports directly relating to the health sector in comparison to the previous calendar year.
With COVID-19 fundamentally changing the cyber threat landscape for the Australian healthcare sector, malicious actors are increasingly targeting and compromising health networks, which are already under strain in a pandemic operating environment.
In order to address current security challenges, healthcare organizations need to ensure security is part of their everyday operations and provide training, tools, and strategies to increase cyber awareness within the healthcare workforce.
With this in mind, the Virtual Cyber Security for Healthcare Summit is back for the second year and will explore key cyber security trends in healthcare and strategies to identify and manage internal and external cyber threats.
Don’t miss the opportunity to learn first-hand how healthcare organizations are strengthening their cyber strategies and the chance to engage with your peers on how to develop a long-term cyber security strategy that improves patient trust and protects critical healthcare data.
