The aim of the Chapter is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the region.
InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. It is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, Arkansas and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.
Its aim is to serve their members by delivering relevant technology and leadership education, research and information on current business and technology issues, and forums for networking and collaboration.
CAIA is a gathering point for folks interested in the alternate applications of modern technology, discussion of technology and security topics, and the sharing and pooling of knowledge.
Is still in the works and is going to open soon. The group ranges from Software Engineering, Database, Network Communications, Electronics, and HAM Radio. The interest of this group is to bring together many various disciplines and skillsets and technologies to form a cohesive unit of sharing and learning. Everyone who wishes to participate in getting this movement into Arkansas is welcomed.
