The Colorado Springs ISSA chapter has been a chapter for 25 years! It will be a chance to socialize with old and new members of the chapter. You should be able to hear stories of the past and ideas for the future. The Colorado Springs Chapter is committed toward helping its members grow professionally. To do this we provide scholarships and negotiate discounts to security training and education events in the region. Our chapter is also committed to advancing the information security field in Colorado, particularly along the Front Range. We work with institutions of higher education from Ft. Collins to Pueblo. Their chapter is also working with other local universities toward including security courses and conferences in their offerings.
With 500 members strong, this is one of the largest chapters in the region. The Denver Chapter of ISACA (formerly EDPAA) was founded in June 1976 with just a handful of members. Today, the Denver chapter with over 1,040 members, is one of the largest chapters within the Southwestern Region. The Denver Chapter contributes to the international organization with financial support and periodic hosting of the International Conference.
This organization of IT professionals meets every second Thursday. The aitp Colorado Mile High chapter (aitp CO MHc) meets on the third Thursday evening of each month from September to May (except December). AITP CO MHc supports upwardly mobile IT professionals with presentations that provide an overview | overall picture of the entire IT industry | technology; such as Cloud Collaboration, Coworking, Virtual Office, and Big Data. The meeting and presentation are broadcast real-time via video stream, and recorded (audio and video) for anytime access throughout the Colorado, nation, and world.

Zero1 Nation is a hacker collective based out of beautiful Colorado Springs, Co. Security BSides is the first grass roots, DIY, open security conference in the world! Security BSides is a great combination of two event styles: structured anchor events and grass-roots geocentric events. Cyber 1.6 Classified concentrates on senior leadership views on Department of Defense and industry cyber activities, with emphasis on hot issues, human capital advancement and the evolving challenges posed by cyberspace.
