This ISSA chapter is home to chapter members in Orlando and nearby areas. The Central Florida Chapter of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is dedicated to promoting Information Systems Security knowledge-sharing, monthly meetings, notice of security events within our area, and links to valuable information and related web sites. This chapter generally meets every third Thursday. Founded in 1951 as NMAA and later known as DPMA, the name Association of Information Technology Professionals, AITP, was adopted in 1996. In individual chapters and as a national association, AITP seeks to advance the IT Profession through professional development, support of IT education, and national policies on IT that improve society as a whole.
