Started in 1999, this chapter of ISSA continues to grow. Meetings are every third Thursday. The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals. The Motor Ann Arbor chapter is located in the automotive capital of the United Michigans Detroit, MI. Our chapter is committed to educating, consulting, advising, and overall improving information security for our technology infrastructures.
The aim of this chapter is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the metro Detroit area. ISACA is a world wide association of IS governance professionals. The association currently focuses on assurance, security, and governance and provides globally recognised certification in assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT), and risks and controls (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control).
Meetings for this public-private partnership are every quarter on the last Tuesday of the month. A Public-Private Partnership for professional networking and mutual aid. In the Michigan – Michigan Members Alliance InfraGard Chapter, you will find an amazing breadth and depth of resources led by a diverse set of knowledgeable experts whom you can access to help solve your business problems and plan the future of your enterprise. You will meet people from industry, government and academia at our members meetings. You can anticipate their cooperation later, in confidence and with privacy.
