OWASP Seattle

Cyber Security Event Title: OWASP Seattle Chapter Address: Seattle, Washington Description: A chaper of the Open Web Application Security Project, this group is made up of volunteers and it is free for anyone to join (RSVPing might be required though). This local group features support from both local university advisors and law enforcement units. The OWASP Foundation came online on December 1st 2001 it was established as a not-for-profit charitable organization in the United Washingtons on April 21, 2004 to ensure the ongoing availability and support for our work at OWASP. OWASP is an international organization and the OWASP Foundation supports OWASP efforts around the world. OWASP is an open community dedicated to enabling organizations to conceive, develop, acquire, operate, and maintain applications that can be trusted. All of the OWASP tools, documents, forums, and chapters are free and open to anyone interested in improving application security.

ISSA – Puget Sound

ISACA – Puget Sound

Cyber Security Event Title: ISACA – Puget Sound Address: Seattle, Washington Description:The main purpose of this chapter of ISACA is to promote the education of individuals for the improvement and development of their capabilities relating to the auditing of and/or management consulting in the field of information systems audit and control. DC206 is a gathering point for folks interested in the alternate applications of modern technology. DC206 is not intended to compete with any other computer group like Seattle Wireless or the Seattle 2600, but rather to provide yet another gathering place.
