This is, literally, one of the biggest Security Events in Israel. This conference is rammed full of roundtables, panels, workshops, forums, BSides, competitions, and a whole lot more. Out of all the Israeli Cybersecurity Conferences, this is one that we’d highly recommend.
This event, like BlueHat 2018 last year, has once again made our Recommended List of Israeli Cybersecurity Conferences to attend purely because of its longevity in the Events Space in Israel. The world still runs predominately on Microsoft so this event is dedicated to that platform. If you live and work in Israel as a IT Professional then this is an event that would very likely be beneficial for you to attend.
We’ve included this event within our recommended events in Israel because it’s one of the largest – if not the largest Cybersecurity Conference in Tel Aviv. In 2018, the event had 160 vendors with 5,000 participants. Obviously, if you work in Cybersecurity in Tel Aviv then this is an event that you ought to attend.
This Israeli Cybersecurity event was absolutely included in our “Recommended Best Israel InfoSec Events of 2018” because it focuses squarely on one major niche of concern with IT Security, namely: SCADA.
We’re mega fans of OWASP here at “InfoSec Conferences” so this event taking place in Tel Aviv was always going to be on our “recommended list”. If you don’t know OWASP then get to know because the organization really does help to identify vulnerabilities as well as find solutions and patches. The OWASP Top Ten is always a “must-read” for serious Security Professionals.
We’ve included this event for those Cybersecurity academics living and working in Israel. If you consider yourself to be one of those then we’d encourage you to satisfy your curiosity and click the more info link below!
Just like with OWASP, we’re big fans of BSides events, in fact we recommend all of them so it’s no surprise that we’ve included “BSides Tel Aviv” within this resource.
In 2018 this event was held at Tel Aviv University in Israel. This event is, we’re sure, the largest Cybersecurity Conference to take place in Israel and that’s why we absolutely had to recommend this event. This Conference attracts some heavy hitting keynote speakers so check it out! You can consider this event as being probably the #1 event to attend in Israel, if you disagree let us know in the comments below or in the comments on the actual page of “Cyber Week Tel Aviv” (the link is below).
This is like OWASP and BSides in the sense that it attracts real genuine Cybersecurity Practitioners. If you consider yourself to be a Israeli Cybersecurity Practitioner/ Professional – then this event is for you!
This is somewhat of a wild card to include because it doesn’t always take place in Israel (which is a determining reason why we include events), however, we thought to mention it because these annual “Eurocrypt” events are noted for their pioneering work in the field of cryptography.
We liked this event because the organizers seem to have made a big effort to combine several Cybersecurity niches together. We’re not sure if this is an annual Israeli Cybersecurity Conference – if it is please let us know and we will update this resource.
There is no doubt that Israel leads the way with advancements in Cybersecurity. It’s also a fact that many successful Israeli Tech Startups (such as Check Point, CyberArk Software, Imperva, Covertix and Lacoon Mobile Security) are (very likely) the result of talented individuals from Unit 8200 (Yehida Shmoneh-Matayim), which for those that don’t know, is an Israeli Intelligence Corps. Unit 8200 has definitely helped fuel the success of many tech companies. We’re sure that by attending this conference in Tel Aviv, which focuses on FinTech, you’ll benefit from the networking and talks. Clearly if you work within the FinTech space then this is a must-attend.
The Israeli’s have long held excellence in being about to crack and create Cryptographic protocols and in this event, you’ll meet some of the pioneering minds behind the technology and hence why we recommended this event as a “must attend Israeli Cybersecurity Conference”.
Say no more, this is (probably) Israel’s biggest Cybersecurity Conference, and that’s why we’ve included it in our list.
We’ve included this event because, as far as we can understand, this conference has been taking place for the last decade. We’re not entirely sure if BlueHat takes place each year in Tel Aviv however because it seems to have done so in 2017 and in 2018 we’ve included it in our “Best Israeli Cybersecurity Conferences of [year]” resource.
