Croatia is becoming increasingly focused on improving its cybersecurity and IT security practices. Croatia is seeing an increased focus on cyber education and research in the public, private, and educational sectors. The challenge for Cybersecurity is that Croatia is vulnerable to hackers and cybercriminals due to a lack of resources and capacity.

The Croatian government is committed to boosting IT security. In 2016, the government passed the Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Law, which established the National Cyber Security Protection System and Cyber Security Center. The government is also working to establish national standards and regulations for IT security.

In response to the increasing need for cybersecurity, Croatia has hosted several cyber conferences and events to discuss and promote cybersecurity topics. The annual Croatian Security Conference (CroSec) is held in Zagreb and focuses on information security. The Croatian Information Security Conference also takes place in Zagreb and focuses on IT security topics. Additionally, the Croatia Information Security Summit (CROSTIS) takes place in Zagreb and covers topics related to IT and cyber security.

The Croatian government is taking steps to ensure the security of the country's digital infrastructure. The Ministry of Science and Education launched the National Cyber Security Initiative, which provides resources to educate the public and teach cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, the government has established several cybersecurity research centers and programs focused on researching and developing new IT security strategies.

Cybersecurity in Lithuania is an ever-growing area of focus due to the country’s recent effort to become an attractive destination for innovative technology companies. Recent years have seen an increase in cyber events in Lithuania, as the country is considered a leader in technology and information security across Europe.

Each year, several cyber security conferences are hosted in Lithuania. The country is now home to the Baltic Cyber Security Summit, one of the largest and most influential cybersecurity events in the Baltics. The event attracts top industry specialists, many of them from the academic or business side of the industry. The summit covers a wide variety of topics related to cybersecurity, from digital forensics and security of critical infrastructure, to risk management and best practices in cyber threat prevention.

The main tech hub in Lithuania, Vilnius Technology Park, also hosts an annual cybersecurity forum, which includes a series of lectures, panel discussions, and workshops on the latest security trends in the country. The event also hosts a hackathon, where teams compete to find the most innovative solutions for various cybersecurity challenges.

In addition to cybersecurity conferences, there are other cyber events in Lithuania. Cybersecurity professionals from all over the Baltic region have the opportunity to attend Hackathon events and hackathons dedicated to the development of cybersecurity solutions.

The Lithuanian government has implemented various measures to protect the country against cyber threats. This includes introducing a dedicated cyber security agency, forming a national cyber security program, and investing in IT security companies and start-ups. The country has also worked to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of its armed forces.

The level of security available to businesses and individuals in Lithuania is also improving. Currently, Lithuania has one of the most powerful cyber security legislation in Europe, providing for greater protections for Lithuanian citizens.
