This security conference, organized by the Carnegie Mellon Institute, has an excellent reputation and it would be a great start to your NEW 2021 year; a year we hope to see the end of the devastation that COVID-19 has wrecked on us all. FloCon is aimed at practitioners and operational analysts, cyber tool developers, researchers, and all cybersecurity professionals. Expect to see and learn about cutting-edge security techniques, especially with regards to helping you “analyze and visualize large datasets for protection and defense of networked systems”. Highly recommended!

This is one of the events that we found on the region but that’s not the reason why we added this to our list. The reason is that this conference stimulate exchanges of information between industry partners and Kirtland AFB Information Management Officers’, Information Technology personnel, Contracting Officers’ as well as end-users, developers, scientists, researchers and project managers in the areas of cyber security and information technology. Most of the attendees of this event are from the Air Force side of Kirtland AFB.
