The Wyoming Department of Homeland Security (WYDHS) is responsible for executing the state’s cyber-security strategy, which includes constructing a risk-based, intelligence-driven, all-hazards approach to prevention, preparation, response, enforcement, and recovery from cyber attacks in Wyoming. The WYDHS also implements education and training aligned with top-level cybersecurity professionals and provides resources to assist public and private entities in recognizing and addressing their cyber risks.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security focuses on cyber threats across the public and private sectors. CISA has identified Wyoming as a region that can benefit from additional efforts to enhance cyber security.

In addition, the Government Services Administration (GSA) provides cybersecurity services to federal government agencies.

The Cybersecurity Conferences and Events in Wyoming are in line with national initiatives such as the National Cyber Security Alliance and federal efforts like the Cybersecurity Summit and Expo. The WICS Chapter is dedicated to helping close the gender gap in cybersecurity by providing a platform for networking, education, and participation in related events across the state. By hosting events and raising awareness, the WICS Chapter works to foster a community of women in Wyoming to engage in cyber-vision (opportunity) and support each other in the industry.
