Owing to its’ sensitive nature, SCADA (Industrial Control Systems) is regularly in the news. This niche-specific category in Cybersecurity is at the core of any functioning economy: (for example) if you hack the Power Grid you knock out the economy. Cyberwarfare offensive operations target SCADA and ICS Systems, and my suggestions for conferences to attend are annual events that I hope you’ll learn more about your chosen industry.

I’m seeing more SCADA and ICS events coming online every year; and that’s no wonder when you look at the perilous state of some critical assets.

This recommended “best of” list is in constant flux as we add new and notable events and conferences so stay tuned! Typically I’ll filter out the notable SCADA events that are submitted to our directory.

Paranoia is one of the Nordic’s leading Information Security Conferences that bring international security experts for discussions on cyber threats, future scenarios, and how you can best prepare for the challenges to come, of which, judging from the torrid year of 2020 will be many.

This. year, the event had Mikko Hypponen as a keynote speaker. Mikko is a global cybersecurity specialist and Chief Research Officer at F-Secure Corporation in Finland, where he has worked since 1991.

Typically in an event like this, you’ll be networking with other C-Level executives from various related organizations and you’ll also of course benefit from learning the latest threat landscape.

My understanding is that Honeywell cybersecurity technologies are associated with this event.
