The National Cyber Summit is the country’s most creative cyber security-technology event, providing industry visionaries and rising leaders with unique educational, collaborative, and workforce development opportunities. With broad subject areas, prominent speakers, and unequaled accessibility, NCS provides greater value than similar cyber conferences. Three things are central to our mission: education, cooperation, and innovation.
The Summit gathers both government and business participants and is held in Huntsville, Alabama, one of the nation’s greatest technical centres.
Huntsville has long been renowned as the home of Department of Defense and civilian departments and agencies such as DHS, NIST, NASA, TVA, NSA, and DOE, but it also boasts a diverse range of companies. Healthcare, automotive, and energy industries, as well as academics, genetic research, and high technology, are all represented.
“NCS links senior cyber-tech professionals with people who are just getting started in the sector. “Building a stronger, more resilient cyber workforce in government, industry, and academia is important to ensuring we safeguard our national interest from all threats foreign and domestic,” said Judy Darwin, director of the National Cyber Summit.
The North Alabama Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (NAC-ISSA), Cyber Huntsville Corporation (CHC), Auburn University Research, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville are all co-hosting the event.
“There is no better place to address cybersecurity than in Huntsville, Alabama, United States” said Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, “This city is at the pinnacle of technology, and the National Cyber Summit brings together the best and brightest from our government, industry, and academic technical community.”
